Jay-Z has confirmed he will headline the Super Bowl halftime show on February 14, 2027, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood. The rapper, who serves as a key decision-maker for the event through his partnership with Roc Nation, chose himself over other artists for the slot. The NFL and Roc Nation have produced the halftime spectacle since 2019, giving Jay-Z direct influence over the creative direction and personnel of the performance.

While the main act is set, the specific guest list remains unannounced. Industry observers note that Jay-Z frequently collaborates with other major artists, suggesting a high probability of additional performers joining him on stage. Four names have surfaced as likely candidates based on their professional history and personal ties to the rapper.

Beyoncé is considered the most probable guest given her marriage to Jay-Z and their extensive musical output. The couple has released multiple hits together, including "Crazy in Love" and "Drunk in Love," and has toured extensively. Beyoncé also has a strong track record with the NFL, having headlined the 2016 halftime show alongside Coldplay and Bruno Mars. She previously performed the national anthem in 2001 and took the stage at a special event in Houston on Christmas Day 2024.

Rihanna is another strong contender, having been signed to Jay-Z’s Def Jam Records in 2005 before moving to Roc Nation in 2010. Their collaborations include "Umbrella" and "Run This Town." Earlier this year, Rihanna made a surprise appearance at Jay-Z’s concert at Yankee Stadium. She also headlined the 2023 Super Bowl halftime show, where she announced her pregnancy to the audience.

Blu Ivy Carter, Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s oldest daughter, has already performed as a dancer at NFL events, including her mother’s 2024 halftime show in Houston. She also joined the Cowboy Carter tour in a similar capacity. Her presence at games with her father is common, making a potential family performance a plausible scenario for the upcoming event.

Eminem, who collaborated with Jay-Z on the track "Renegade," recently joined the rapper on stage during his current tour. The two could reunite at the Super Bowl, adding to a lineup that would feature multiple hip-hop legends. Eminem last appeared at the event as a special guest during the 2022 halftime show, part of a group performance that included other major hip-hop figures.
