Jack Campbell is hospitalized with no confirmed update on his condition after sustaining a severe injury during the Lions' 19-15 win over the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday.

The middle linebacker was carted off the field early in the fourth quarter after attempting to tackle Vikings tight end TJ Hockenson. Players from both teams stood around him as he lay motionless, with no reported feeling in his extremities. The game paused for multiple television timeouts while medical staff loaded him into an ambulance.

Lions head coach Dan Campbell addressed the team immediately after the final whistle. He described the locker room atmosphere as heavy before leading a group prayer for the injured player. Campbell told the team, "I do not have any more information on Jack. We don't know anything else at this point." He urged the group to keep Campbell in their thoughts and prayers.

Footage posted by the Lions shows the coach with a red face and tears visible on his cheeks during the moment. The prayer itself was omitted from the social media clip. Quarterback Jared Goff took over the huddle after the prayer. Goff instructed the team to stick together and lean on each other. He ended the discussion by having the group chant "win."

As of Sunday night, Campbell was resting in a hospital bed. The team has not provided a detailed medical assessment. The Lions are expected to be without their star linebacker for upcoming games. The NFL community awaits a positive update regarding the player's mobility and sensation.
