Gator fans face off for $40,000 in cash prizes

University of Florida fans can compete for a share of $40,000 in cash prizes on Saturday, November 7. The event is part of the Yes Chef Tailgates tour presented by Pepsi. The competition takes place at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium ahead of the Gators' game against the University of Oklahoma.

Jack Goldburg, co-founder of Jack's Dining Room and Yes Chef Group, will host the main challenge. Participants must beat Goldburg in three specific games to win money. The contests are Reaction Catch, Football Toss, and Pepsi Putt.

The tailgate event opens at 4:30 p.m. ET for registered guests. Early attendees can play all three games for free. Scores are tracked on a leaderboard to determine which fans qualify for the head-to-head challenge against Goldburg.

The 'Beat Jack' challenge begins at 6:00 p.m. ET. Contestants from the leaderboard will compete directly with Goldburg for the cash prizes. The general public can enter the tailgate area starting at 6:30 p.m. ET without an RSVP, subject to space availability.

Pepsi has partnered with the University of Florida for 21 years. The company is providing free Pepsi Zero Sugar and Pepsi Prebiotic Cola to attendees. Food service is handled by Grievous Angel and LoveBird. DJ gudgroove will perform live music throughout the event.

The event runs until 7:30 p.m. ET. It is open to eligible Florida residents ages 18 and older. Participants must present a government-issued photo ID. Yes Chef Group sponsors the contest, while Chem Creative administers and judges the competition. Pepsi does not manage the contest or award the prizes.

RSVPs are required for the early access portion of the event. Fans can secure a spot through the Jack's Dining Room Instagram page. On-site registration is available if capacity allows. No purchase is necessary to enter the contest.
