Netflix renewed the animated series Haunted Hotel for a third season on October 30, 2026. The decision follows the recent release of the show's second season.
Creator Matt Roller stated on the Bulwark Goes to Hollywood podcast earlier in October that scripts for the upcoming season are complete. The production team is targeting a ten-episode run for the 2027 release.
The series follows a single mother who manages the Undervale, a hotel plagued by supernatural occurrences. She raises two children while interacting with a ghost brother and a demon residing in the body of a young boy.
Will Forte, Eliza Coupe, Skyler Gisondo, Natalie Palamides, and Jimmi Simpson will reprise their roles in the new season. Roller described the upcoming episodes as containing the biggest, funniest, and scariest stories in the series' history.
Season 2 debuted on the Global English TV Top 10 list earlier this month. The first season, released in September 2025, has accumulated over 15 million views.
Roller, Chris McKenna, Steve Levy, and Dan Harmon serve as executive producers. Titmouse is the animation studio, with Chris Prynoski, Shannon Prynoski, Antonio Canobbio, and Ben Kalina also credited as executive producers.
